I tried an experiment. Told them throughout I didn’t play 5E, but answered the questions correctly. Still got the NDA page, even though I’d specifically said I don’t play 5E.
But what happens in the opposite case? You say that you play 5e, but fail the test? Surely the WotC elite commandos would hunt you down...

At least I got the chance to tell them how utterly disappointed I am with the Dragonborn race. (I hope that this is taken as "please fix them" rather than "make them go away." Given Dragonborn are like, the fourth or fifth most popular race choice from D&D Beyond, despite their distinct mechanical....paucity, shall we say, I'm not too worried about that. But given the number of people who would absolutely yeet Dragonborn straight out of the game no matter how popular they are, I do feel a little justified in worrying.)
Do you think the recent dragon UA fixed them?

So they're floating a VTT and digital tools for the nth time?
Not quite, sounded more like targeting an unserved market segment that otherwise has to fight wotc's tools at the table when using vtt for in person play. Instead of trying to force the GM to fit their game to the automation & optional selections built into the player interface there needs to be less ddb style pick the thing to automatically fill everything with more fill in the bits like vtts & editable pdfs/paper sheets force on the player side.

Perhaps region based off IP. My current IP is US based. Guessing yours is UK.
Morrus is UK I am in Ireland but did not get the NDA or video. For the record. I did say I spent on digital product but no digital subscriptions (I have a full FG licence) and no to discord.
It all seems a bit random. Maybe that is by design. There are taking a random selection of responders with in the population of self selecting responders.

Do you think the recent dragon UA fixed them?
It was definitely an improvement. I think it needed another couple of passes, and I would have liked to see more references to the 4e concepts that were part of its version of Dragonborn (getting slightly more value out of healing, History bonus, more ferocious when bloodied, etc.) But it was definitely satisfying to see them (tacitly) admit that the standard Dragonborn, as written, sucks.

Took the whole survey and never saw NDA or products.

did I get bait and switches?!
Nope. Looks like only a small proportion of people actually got the NDA. Some are interpreting this as a 420 IQ play to drive up talk by getting people outraged about the NDA, but I'm pretty sure it isn't. Bad publicity only rarely, and never intentionally, results in a New Coke vs. Coke Classic situation.

Based on this thread, it sounds like the NDA question has been removed for anyone who did the survey recently... they probably just showed the NDA stuff to the first people who did the survey, and once they got the response rate they wanted, removed it.
