Newest Biggie Smalls report is up

They're both rather annoying, because they're pandering to stereotypes (even if they aren't overtly harmful ones). I suspect this guy gets less heat because 1- the weird writing is to a certain extent based on the character, rather than the author (I hope), and 2- crunch is more common in these playtest reports. Lots of people will put up with a lot of garbage for a peak at the rules.
One man's garbage is another man's treasure.

I find the writing style funny. It's very entertaining and seems to be a strong reflection of the personality and perspective of Biggie Smalls (as far as we can tell).

I get a good laugh out of each one of the Mini-Adventures of Biggie Smalls.

I enjoy Biggie Smalls because of the writing. It is a fun, almost-but-not-quite, in-character dialogue. It seems to reflect the PCs personality and gives me a great feeling about what we could expect from Biggie Smalls were he ever to show up in our games.

Shelly's articles are up and down for me. I find the articles that venture further from the gaming aspects and more into real-world angst issues bother me to a greater degree.

Of course who am I to say what is "good?" I have found some authors I enjoy ripped to shreds in the Media Lounge, while others who are praised as a divine gift to literature do absolutley nothing for me.
