Night on the Stonelands

Ha! :D

These characters are really growing on me...Lucius grooming his moustache, Van getting all bellicose...good stuff.

Kaemris, while we're gone could you do something about our little thieving friend. maybe the dwarves should be advised as to the frailty of their locks.

Just a question

Do we have a plan for these orcs, other than "kill"?

I don't think that we need to fear that they will harm the children, but is there a way for us to concentrate our efforts somehow and make this quick work?

The plan

I think it's a bad idea to plan before we know the situation. Obviously, our first plan is to leave now and track the orcs. Vam , you'll be tracking from land while Master Thornwind and I scout from above (I as an invisible dragon and he as a mere bird .. we should not attract attention).

If we find them walking, well, my magics can put them to sleep which will do no harm to the children.

However, I think it's more likely they're back in their lair. Which means we'll need to plan our attack more carefully. It seems likely to be an underground lair with an outcropping of rocks as the entrance. I believe illusion and trickery are our best bet for gaining entrance to such a lair. Don't you agree Master Bramblefoot?

Yes, i do agree. brute force is not really my style, and i think our party would be better suited to other means. i dont know much about illusion, but stealth is something i believe in greatly. just dont ask me to dress up like a goblin...

Just something else to consider in our strategy ... As you know, I have the ability to change forms, even into some large forms. Well, I also have a spell that can change someone else into any form I wish.

Sadly, this spell is permanent, so most of you won't want it cast on them (although I can dispel it, you'd have to rely on me to do it). However, since we have a natural shapeshifter with us in our party, I believe that he would be able to turn back into his natural form whenever he chose. So Master Thornwind, if you'd like to be an Orc ... or perhaps a giant ... let me know.
