Other D&D Variant Nimble 5e

I have played once, and next week is a second session as a player (a Cheat). I really enjoyed it. I would try to get my main group to switch from 5e to this, but that might be hard to do. Also, and this is big, there's no official VTT support, so all of those thousands of 5e monsters I have are useless. Nimble needs a monster manual to drop online. I started to prep Sunless Citadel to convert to Nimble.
I agree a MM would be good.....the owner of Nimble is discussing doing one.

.the dev dropping out of the vtt support really hurt.

Bob World Builder just released a review video, and he left off how flexible every character really is, in so little space taken up in a book. I'm going to push for this being our game going forward in our in person game.
On @SlyFlourish's Monday podcast, he made it sound like 5E monsters aren't super-compatible out of the box with Nimble. How different are their stats? Is it just a matter of ignoring 5E cruft or are there Nimble stats that 5E monsters are missing?

I haven't tried converting anything yet......the bestiary has a decent amount of stuff in it already. (not enough).

I'll put out the books (more accurately, they are right next to me, so I'll grab one) and see what the advice is.

A nimble monster block is TINY, has almost nothing on it. I mean, there isn't AC, there isn't a to hit roll, so there is some work to do for sure.....brb.

the advice in teh GM guide is as follows:

Basic monsters are pretty simple. A skeleton has 10 hit points and does 1d4+3 with an arrow. There's nothing else there. A wraith (level 10) has about 100 hp, can fly, and can deal ranged hp damage AND inflict wounds, which is the 5e equivalent of failing your death saves. 6 wounds and you're dead. So while they're simple sheets, they are not 1:1 and you have to think about how to adapt them. The legendary monsters are more complex. Far less than 5e, but still more complex.

Been running a few sessions, although I haven't converted any monsters. They have very simple stat blocks but many have cool abilities. Kobolds have an ability called Noooooo! If one of their allies dies within 2 spaces, they can attack once for free.

I really like the solo monsters. You can actually run them as solos and put the party in serious jeopardy.

Also, love the humour throughout the books. This is a game that just wants everyone to relax and have fun. J. P. Coovert is listed as one of the inspirations for the game, and I think his stuff would be perfect.

There a few preachy spots I could do without, but I agree.
