Niobe's Dilemma (Manzanita Judging)

Troi spots some trees off in the distance, 100-150' away that could provide some cover, and a building that looks like the stables isn't too far out of the way from a straight shot back there.

Troi smiles as he spots the stable-like building and the interceding trees. He points to them.

"See? Buildin' ta hide th' horse er 'is buddies, trees ta give 'im cover if anybody in th' house thinks ta look this way."

Don't get overconfident. You might still be wrong, and if you are, you don't want to lead them or yourself on a wild goose chase trying to prove your theory. If you're right, well done; but keep in mind, Troi, that there is always a chance that you might be wrong.

It's possible that they set it up to look like that was the plan, then did something else, to throw you off their path. Don't get too far ahead of yourself.

Jaan
"Follow the tracks?"

Troi shakes his head. "Sorry... don't 'ave anythin' but theory at th' moment. Dunno if we'll fin' any. I'm thinkin' we should check out th' trees, an' th' buildin' over there. If I'm right, we should be able ta fin' somethin'."

[sblock=ooc]Sorry if that spiel seemed overbearing... I'm not trying to be, honest. :)[/sblock]

Jaan Saaresar, male human servant of the Greenman.

"Shall we then?"

Jaan slips a dagger from his belt.

"Although this time I intend to keep you in sight," Jaan adds with a wry grin.

[sblock=ooc]No worries. I think my main point was that there was some obstacle nearby which could easily obscure the vision of someone looking out from the house. Stable or trees, either way works. :)[/sblock]

Jaan
"Although this time I intend to keep you in sight,"

Troi smiles at that, and nods. "A good call, I s'pose. I don' think I'm gonna sugges' splittin' up like that again anytime soon."

Assuming there are no other objections, comments, or ideas, Troi begins heading for the stable.
