Lasair concentrats a moment and some of her color returns to her, having gone a bit pale from the hit. She drops to the ground to take cover from the oncoming fire.

(OOC: I guess now would be a good time to check this, but I assume since we're in the trees that there's no way for Lasair to be charged by the horses. If there was, she wouldn't have dropped prone, or at least she'd do so behind cover)

OOC: That is correct, you have some cover till about 30-50' (depending on the angle), so no charging beyond that distance. Not enough to prevent sight, but enough to stop a good charge. Plus, with longswords, the'd have trouble reaching you if they ducked.

Wil moves to screen Lasair from a charge, drawing his dagger if he hasn't done so yet. He also hopes to find some cover in that position, or somewhere nearby. He chants whilst moving, a dull red glow flashing over him and dissipating immediately after.

Wilhelm flashes with power as his god shields him from harm, while he finds a tree that provides some cover.


OOC: Jaan's up, but feel free to post your next action if you've already went, including posable alternitives depeneding on what happens.

Jaan drops the lantern out of the way and draws his second dagger for defence. If there is a tree nearby, he will use it to break the charge, and gain cover.

Round 1 cont':
Jaan draws a dagger while taking cover.

Troi draws his shortsword, then takes a step back. He spies that they are wearing studded leather.

The horsemen continue to bear down on you. closing another 40'. The archers fire again, two miss Troi who is still standing out in the open, and one fires at Jan, striking his arm.

"Jaan, to me!" Wil cries out after seeing his comrade get struck. As much as the priest would like to heal his friend, they were simply too far apart.

Wil turns his attention to his oncoming enemies, faith his only armor and the strongest of his weapons.

OOG: Wil is going to ready an action to cast Cause Fear when one of the swordsmen come into range (30 feet).
