No more paralyzed condition?

I remember the 3e effects like Hold Monster, which paralyzed you. There are a lot of effects out there that immobilize targets, but apparently being immobilized means you can still attack and do everything else just fine, you just can't change your position. I don't know why but this does not sit well with me. Am I missing something or is there a condition that combines being immobilized and stunned, the only defined conditions that would approximate being actually paralyzed or held in place?

You can't move while stunned, so that might be sufficient for you.

If not, there's always petrification.

Hmm, yeah combining immobilized and stunned would be a bit redundant. Paralysis seems to be replaced by stun, which if functionally identical. You will note for example that ghouls now stun you (though they have to immobilize you first).

I'm at work, so no books, but Helpless seems to be paralyzed to a tee. Can' move, can't act, can be coup de graced. If I remember correctly, of course.

Ah yes, paralyzed. Your character may as well be dead, except you don't even get to leave the table or start rolling up a new one.

Just remember that before you try to make minute-long stunning powers.
