D&D General Nolzur creates inclusive miniatures, people can't handle it.

For real. At least in coastal states. A few days ago I posted this comparison, and why I need to move to the midwest lol. Twice the house for half the cost.

Cheap the top ones the starting price in most of the country, bottom ones the starting price in cheap parts of the country. Well you coukd fond something worse I suppose.

Except they're better houses than same price here.

My brother could sell his house and move somewhere cheaper like California or Seattle.

True but I'm thre DM in that game. Make my life easier ffs.

This campaign was a new player request happy to accommodate the next new player in next campaign as long as everyone's more or less happy.
No one is criticizing your current game for not having wheelchairs in it. None of your players are disabled, and none have asked to play a disabled character. So having wheelchairs in your current game is a non-issue.

What you are being criticized for is your seeming unwillingness to even consider adding wheelchairs should a player ask to use one in-game. And for being one of those making a big deal of "not in my game!" When, currently, it is irrelevant to your game.

Honestly I'm finding the bastion system less realistic than adventurers in wheelchairs.

Owning a home is truly an immersion breaking fantasy element.
Actually unironically true. Didn't most peasants not own the land they farmed? If memory serves, the local lord or Baron actually owned the land and charged rent for the privilege of working the land. Isn't that how Fuedism works?

In certain portions of Europe at certain times, yes.

But D&D isn't just about England and France anymore

Look, I'll be 100% honest. I will likely not buy this mini. Like, ever. For one, I don't buy minis - I play online. So, honestly, something like this isn't something I'm looking for. But, I'm honestly baffled why anyone would take a stand on this. What a bizarre hill to die on. It's not for your group. You don't need it and won't use it. WHY ARE YOU TELLING US?

Do you really think anyone here gives a rat's petoot that you aren't going to use it? Why on earth would you spend the time telling all and sundry that you aren't going to use something? And, it cannot possibly escape people that it looks REALLY bad. You don't comment on the other thousand things you don't use at your table and aren't interested in. Even if people are 100% innocently commenting on this about why they wouldn't use it in their game, it still looks unbelievably bad.

Who died and made you mod? It's a discussion.

Here is my guess: not many people are too upset either way. You can always find a rando who thinks X or Y. That does not an epidemic make.

So some rando’s post has led to a thread here.

This for me is a simple calculus. Be good to people even if it messes with your “perfect game.” One of my kids wants to play a kenku…I….am not into kenkus generally. So what did I do? I bought her a kenku mini and told her we are going to play.

So let’s say you have a player—-adult or kid—-that is wheelchair bound. They want to play a character in a chair…who is going to say “no?”

It’s not my vision for a barbarian campaign but we in that case would “figure it out.”
