Psion. Because psionics was always a mistake.

I haven't seen an archivist in play, but I thought it looked like an interesting class. I thought the spellbook for cleric spells was a nice twist. Why the dislike?

The only limit to a Cleric's power is his restricted spell list. With access to every Domain spell, every Druid spell, all Paladin and Ranger spells (who often get good spells at reduced spell-level to make up for their reduced spell advancement), AND every Divine spell in every splat-book... Archivist is my target now.

If the anti-psi coallition could just get together and pick Psion OR Psi Warrior, then do the next one in the next round, we'd have them both off already. For solidarity's sake, I voted Psion, but don't think I have any love for the PsiWar either.

Aye! Death to the Psion! My hat of psyonic know no limit!

I have played an XPH Psychic Warrior, and the save DC's for his psionic powers seemed way too low. Opponents saved more than 75% of the time, possibly more... So this class gets my vote for getting the boot off the island.

What were you using that has a save?
Psi warriors are buff and meele specialists.
you don't have enuff psp to spend more than a few per round, buffs are a better investment.

I have also done good range builds - 1 arrow per rnd, at 4d6 extra damage.

Archivest next - the domain spells is to big a list,
the warlock next - just not enough variety for a caster.

I like them all, but at this point I'm thinking "which class adds the least to the game"? My answer is archivist, even though I really love the flavor of that class.

Exactly my thoughts.

We're down to the classes that I'm already using, or that I will soon be using, in my game.

Except the Archivist, who is going down.
