If the anti-psi coallition could just get together and pick Psion OR Psi Warrior, then do the next one in the next round, we'd have them both off already. For solidarity's sake, I voted Psion, but don't think I have any love for the PsiWar either.

What did I ever do to you people?! :( :( :(

Ummm, I'm pretty sure it's whatever player has at least 1 power point and chooses they psicrystal feat.
This is true. However, you shouldn't expect the Psi-haters to, you know, actually know the rules for psionics ;)

I merely seek a good, unprincipled tarring of a class with its dumbest associated feature, whether optional or not, in the finest internet tradition! That is all. So remember, you last few voters: psicrystals! :P

I like all the remaining classes really I do I'm grasping at straws to make decisions and psicrystals were the funniest-looking straw I could find work with me here people!

It's too early for the beguiler or the warlock to go down, so I'll join in the psionic wagon circling.

Sorry Archivist. As new spellcasting classes go, you were the best, but you are our Ollie North.

The only limit to a Cleric's power is his restricted spell list. With access to every Domain spell, every Druid spell, all Paladin and Ranger spells (who often get good spells at reduced spell-level to make up for their reduced spell advancement), AND every Divine spell in every splat-book... Archivist is my target now.

... except that they have nowhere near the Cleric's martial proficiency (no heavy armor, 1/2 BAB, d6 hit die, and can't conviently pick up martial weapons from a domain), and acquire their spells in a wizard-like fashion (two freebies from the cleric list, then they have to scribe, with all attendant costs, the rest) rather than getting the whole list for free. And they can't turn undead, which means no divine feats and qualifying for PrCs is tough, or spotnatneously heal (which means they have to prepare cures if they're the only divine caster).

They're not better than the cleric, and they do fill a much-needed role. Take out something else.

Psychic Warrior. Psionics psuck, and really should be specific to the modern game, and the psychic warrior exists to satisfy a rules spot. I read about psion-like folks in sci-fi stories, but not psychic warriors.

I would assume that the Beguilers are very good at hiding. :)

Beguiler walks up to random ENWorld member.

"You don't want to vote for the Beguiler."

"I don't want to vote for the Beguiler."
