I only voted against classes I've got books for so I had to go with the soulknife. It's just a weird collection of abilities. I actually like the favored soul, but I do take out the wings part.

I voted shugenja, as I don't think OA classes fit in the core game. Shame everyone has it in for the totemist -- I've played one for the last six months and it's been great fun!

I had to get rid of Incarnum first.

But Artificer, my hate is ready for you. "Hey everyone, let's stop for a week while I use my class features!" also: "I'm glad the entire reason for my existence is a robot's medpack!"

Why the hate for incarnum? Its got solid mechanics that sadly are tangled in bad fluff and goofy looking manifestations. However the 2 issues are VERY easy to fix (ie, remove them), and you have classes that are better balanced and more interesting than most in the PHB.

My vote goes to the ninja. Sudden strike is just a crappy watered down sneak attack, and the class just isnt very good.

Rogue if you want to continue expanding your skills and sneakingness.

Fighter if you want to fight better.

Both as you advance?

Maybe barbarian if it works for the character idea?

I don't like spontaneous spellcasters, they are just wannabe Psionicists...

That's odd since the spontaneous casters were around first. I'd say the Psions are trying to be them, so get rid of them!!
