At last, we are cooking up some Artificer pat-tay.

I like the rest of the classes, so perhaps we should start talking about a ceasefire. Maybe we can just leave the rest alone before things start getting painful. Can't we all just get along?

Well, the archivist, binder, and dread necromancer I could easily see go simply because I know nothing about them. And ... my guess is that now that we are down to the classes that most people are okay with we will start to see the lesser known classes go. I bet people vote for the archivist to go off because they don't know it rather than some class they do know and think is alright.

Prepare yourself for a cool and flavourful variant Divine caster

Hmmmmm. I know that you are going to hate this - and therefore have a decent argument as to why my gut reaction is a horrible assessment - but I couldn't help read through this and think ... it's like a divine bard who prays rather than sings.

Now, I know the bard is one of your favorite classes ... <cough> ... so don't take that as an insult. This is a class where the flavor texts (or at least what I see as the flavor text) would interest me into playing it. I'm still not really sure why this character is any more effetive than a bard, though. And I'm not saying it to be snippy or snyde - just an honest curiosity.

The spells. Full casting. Give the Bard full casting and it isn't a bad class at all. Plus you have better armour-wearing capabilities than the Bard. Anyways, I like the Bard concept, I just think 3.X dropped the ball on the mechanics ;)

Also, I'd quibble that the Archivist doesn't so much pray all the time as gather obscure occult lore. That said, my Archivist knew all the prayers and convinced priests from another city's temple that she was one of them (even receiving a free room from them for visiting clergy--woohoo!)
