Sado, you are not alone
I haven't played rpgs for more than two years, sadly. My group more or less fell apart at about the same time I bought an old house that needed quite a lot of repair work. Nowadays I have lots of time, even with the sorta wonky hours I work and I still hang out with the same guys I used to play with, but their interest in rpgs have dwindled.
We have been talking a bit about getting a game going again, but it is not really working out. We are four guys who'd like to play, but the thing is, of the four of us:
This is making me slightly annoyed
I am open to pretty much anything, I just want to play/DM. I suppose I could DM Ravenloft, but I never really cared much for it, so I don't think I'd do a good job, and we'd still only have two players. I would love to DM Eberron, but so far there are no takers...
Oh well, at least there's ENWorld...
Edit: Arr...matey! 'Twould appear I be a scurvy landlubber! I be forgettin' me piratetalk!

We have been talking a bit about getting a game going again, but it is not really working out. We are four guys who'd like to play, but the thing is, of the four of us:
- three would like to play Call of Chtulhu (one being me), but the guy who would be the GM has just gotten a new job and doesn't think he can find the time for it :\
- two would love to play Ravenloft (which I would also be ok with), but noone really wanting to DM. One guy said he might do it, but he hasn't read any of the Ravenloft material and doesn't have a good grasp of the rules of D&D
- one completely refuses to play any D&D(!) (the guy who'd GM CoC)
- two has stated that they will not play unless there is at least 3 players!
- the three other guys are generally casual players, i.e. they don't want to spend a lot of time on it and only wants to play maybe once a month
- one player has stated that he'd only play 2e!
- there are very few other gamers in our vicinity and the only one I met was very much a powergamer, which doesn't fit our style well. Plus he moved to Sweden
This is making me slightly annoyed

Oh well, at least there's ENWorld...
