[Nov.] What are you playing?

First Post
Replaying Metroid Prime for Cube. Still somewhere in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for GBA.

One of my housemates recently bought X-Men Legends, and we've been playing that in four players. Gonna try and get them back on finishing The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, after my memory card was "lent" to one of my housemates' cousin.

I listened to some of the soundtrack of Valkyrie Profile and remembered how much I liked the game, so I've been playing that a lot recently. Got the Dragon Quest 8 demo recently in the mail, but I wasn't very impressed with it so I probably won't be getting it when it's released this month. (These slime keychains are really cute though!) Not really spending my time on anything else recently.

Last month I rented Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit for those Europeans out there), Psychonauts, and Wipeout Pure. Wipeout Pure struck me as a technically awesome game that unfortunately got dull quickly. Psychonauts didn't bring anything new to the table, but definitely had a nice quirky sense of style which made it a really fun game. And Indigo Prophecy is a game which I want every single developer to play. It has quite a few plot holes and is sometimes a little over-the-top, but it takes a very innovative approach to cinematics and gameplay. This month I'll probably rent Shadow of the Collosus and Stubbs the Zombie sometime.

World of Warcraft and Age of Empires III. Thinking about buying Star Wars Battlegrounds II but I am not sure.

Just added Star Wars Battlefront II to my usual World of Warcraft addiction. A definite improvement over the first, though I loved that one anyway. Galactic Conquest mode is so much more interesting this time around.

Finally got my computer fixed so that it will run Half-Life 2; just reached the Sandtraps chapter. Still playing Morrowind a year-and-a-half after buying it. On the console front, i picked up Champions of Norrath the other day pretty cheap and once i finish my 12th (!) replay of Resident Evil 4 on my 'Cube i'll likely give Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction another go. I'll probably pick up a new console game sometime in the next month or so, but i haven't decided on which one. (Shadow of the Colossus? Soul Calibur III? Castlevania: Curse of Darkness? About a half-dozen others? Bah.)

Well I beat FEAR the other day.. Wow what a cool ending!!

Still playing BF2 mainly.

On vacation from WOW and EQ2 for now..

Waiting on "The Movies", Cursing Elder Scrolls for being delayed. and an outside chance that I pick up 50cents game if it's as good as the previews are saying.

The Sims 2: Nightlife mostly. Thanks to the addition of cars, I've had to re-do most of my sims houses. Which takes a while, since I've got about a 1000 sims in a couple hundred houses..

I was thinking about buying Civ IV, the Movies, or SW Battlefront 2. (Can only afford one). Am leaning towards the Movies.

Thoroughly enjoying Civ IV, the best Civ since, uh, Civ II. :) The only problem...

The Movies is out this month. I'm sure it will be another time-drain game. Ouch. Pre-ordered a while ago. Probably should have waited until the Civ IV buzz wore off to pick it up.

Also playing -

(Gamecube) Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - A very fun game. I've always like tactical RPG's since FFT. This one is a bit different and for that I really like it. The story is very good and easy to follow.

(Xbox) X-men Legends - Fun and brainless, just the way I like my dungeon crawler beat-em-ups. :)

(PS2) NBA Street v.3 - Still lots of fun and good for the occassional adrenaline rush.
