i can't remember who made it, though. memory is the first thing to go.

it is a quite old egyptian piece. replicas are sold in museum shops all over.

i originally gathered several pictures of potters and was going to rotate them in and out, then hellhound (m jason parent of ambient press fame) did this one up into a nice little graphic for me and now i feel guilty changing it :P

If you're going to be in Waltham on Wednesday, I'm running a game at Pandemonium Books and Games (www.pandemoniumbooks.com) from 6 to 9 pm. The game is probably full, but I'm meeting another board member for a beer afterwards. You could join us! Can you join us? What time are you getting in?

I could always give you a lift to wherever you're staying after the game, although it would probably be around midnight before you got there.

Hmm, this is a possibility- my uncle is picking me up, so I don't know what his plan is and I'm currently flat broke (though I'll be doing a little work for him while I'm there so that'll change!), so I wouldn't really be able to indulge too much.... but I'd love the chance to meet up with you for a bit. I'll talk to him about it and see what's up! I suspect he drinks beer, but I haven't really seen him in over half my life so I don't know for sure. Maybe I can lure him in...

Well, we'll see what happens!

We had breakfast together - he kept eying my cats suspiciously, and one of them is already missing a leg - and had a great time. Last night, I had to cancel my normal game due to two missing players. Jester came over anyways, and I ran a swashbuckling musketeers game that was all kinds of fun. :D

He's in the area until early next week; anyone who can see him, should!

Well, I had a blast playing in Piratecat's swashbuckling adventure and even though my dice betrayed me all night long, they came through when it really counted.

Staying with my crazy uncle was frightening- he lives in an apartment crammed full of stuff, including ancient 17 magazines and TV Guides left over from the 80s and far worse things. It was- eek! I was scared of the bathroom and the kitchen- eek! I made all the required saves, but just barely; man, it's weird seeing someone for the first time since you were 6 or something and realizing that all the smack-talking the rest of the family has done about him is terribly, terribly true.

I'm at a public library right now, so I have very limited time- but will post more details later. Hopefully I'll be able to drop by Dr. Midnight's place early next week- sadly, I'm going to miss his game tonight. :( Can't win 'em all...
