Well, I've touched down in Atlanta and just got to Angelsboi's pad... we had to stop along the way for a gaming session of course! :D It was a fun game, even though he seemed to think he was off his normal stride; I enjoyed finally getting to play my Sarcastro the Bard concept (with perform types like Insults, Ethnic Jokes, Satire, Juggling and of course Tapdancing).

I really enjoyed hanging out with Crothian- that man has a 3e library better than most gaming stores- and meeting Mr. Fidget and Lord Apok, too! Surprisingly, there was no real gaming there, just lots of geekspeak, but that's okay, I've been getting my fix (between Golden Eagle's house and the game today, I think I've squeezed in three sessions in the last week!) And tomorrow we have Olgar's game, so I'll be well taken care of...

Tallyho!

We are weekend gamers. We did have the game of A&A Europe, sorry it's not your cup of tea. And my collection is not that big. But it was a good talking geekspeak with Jester.

Reminds me of the good old days, a inn, lots and lots of beer and a mad dwarf on a table...

*shrug*

Well, I was playing a half-elf, but there was a wild elf barbarian/bard apprentice involved, which is a lot like a mad dwarf...

Well, after spending a few days with the amazing Grace (sorry, couldn't resist) in Tampa- she's the girl I met in New Orleans- I'm back in Atlanta, at Diaglo's. I'm running a one-shot 5th level game tomorrow (that would be Saturday) here if anyone's interested. I believe we'll at least have Olgar here, along with one of the guys who plays in his game that I didn't get to meet when I guested.

By the by, two thumbs up for the movie Dagon, based on a story by a certain chap named Lovecraft. It's got everything- strange cults, human sacrifice, swimming, burning, stabbing, tentacle sex, flaying- oh, yes.

Er, if you're into that sort of thing, I mean.

I'm curious too, but I'd understand if he doesn't want to tell...

Then I get to guilt trip him. "After I let you sleep on my futon and introduce you to my friends, this is the way I get treated?!" Jokeing of course :D
