80-99%.

All of the core PC races are in the MM, as well as a number of setting specific creatures I'm fond of-- dragons in Dragonstar and most of the really useful Outsiders for Planescape.

If you're not going to count that, then damned near zero, since I tend to pile on some class levels to just about everything, and the majority of my encounters are humanoids or other playable races.

We rotate DM's and the DM we are playing with now is very fond of the Fiend Folio. I'm pretty sure it's because he's never seen either of the other two DM's bust out a monster from it. He will still use monsters from the MM because lots of good stuff is in there.

On the average, I'd say about 70%. One DM is using the WLD, so he's been at 100%, while the other two DMs will sneak in critters from other sources. One DM in particular is fond of getting new monsters from a lot of different places, like _Dragon_, small press monster books, etc. When I run a game, I'd say about 80% of the encounters come from MM and I look for stuff from FF and MMII and MMIII to just spice things up.

I own no other collections of monsters -- no am I particularly interested in them. I don't even use all the critters in the MM.

I voted 80-99%, though, because I have used stuff from ELH, and some of the tweaks from Draconomicon.

I voted for the 80-00%, though its closer to 80%.

As far as I am concerned, the MM contains the common breeds of humanoids and monsters. Other sources are rarer creatures that may or may not exist until I use them.

About 20% of my monsters come from the Monster Manual, more if you count homebrewed monsters I created by starting with a Monster Manual creature and arbitrarily adding abilities and changing flavour-text descriptions until it was unrecognisable, a la Monster Handbook.
