Official Type LOST Predictions

And.... do you not like Lost? If so, why do you watch it and why do you comment about it on these threads all the time?

I like Lost very much. It is not perfect, but just because I post a complaint about it doesn't mean I don't like it. I have plenty of complaints about D&D too along with many people on these boards, yet they are rarely accused of not liking it. I like Lost but it is not perfect and I'm not afraid to point that out.

And if people took a disliking to Ana its cause the writers had her kill Shannon - it should not have been a surprise to the writers.

I thinked they killed off Ana because of difficulties with Michelle Rodriguez. She was (according to hollywood scuttlebut) troublesome on the set and didn't get along with several of the other cast. Which is kind of silly on a show where just about anyone can be killed off at any time.

I predict that what will be Lost in Season Three will be around one-third of the viewers as the novelty of the show has worn off.

To that we say, "Spot on. See you in another year, brotha!"

Our Lost-watching group has already decided to break-up for Season Three. It was just too difficult to get everyone together @ broadcast time to experience it as a group dynamic thing. And even Tivo/recording wasn't a very successful solution, as the constant interruptions caused us to be saving more and more episodes for our get-together time when everyone could make it. We were not watching anything for months, then doing a binge-catchup marathon. Watched this way, Season Two's story arcs and timing left a lot to be desired. If they do plan a consistent story-arc for Season Three, where you are left with a good resolution/revelation/cliffhanger to hold you until the next chunk of episodes, some of us have decided to give Lost another season.

But most of us are just going to go the other way, and wait an entire year for the whole thing to come out on DVD as a boxed set @ this time in 2007. From what I have seen at my local Blockbuster store, a whole lot of people already did this for Season Two, and are just now starting to rent it/buy it on DVD.

Which makes me hope that not too many people follow our example this season, as we do want to watch this show's conclusion! Hope enough of you keep the ratings up so that it actually makes it to the end of Season Three without being cancelled... :(

It will easily make it through season 3. It's whether it will make it through season 5 that is the question, I think.

Anyway...

Do you think Tom is the Real Sawyer?

Did Sun sleep with Jae Lee and is he the (biological) father of her child?

What does Psuedo-Henry want?

Why does that statue have only four toes on its left foot when normal people, like me, have six?

What happened to Jack's father's body?

How come - and this is important - Jack's hair never grows?
