Divinchi did't carve David. Michelangelo did. And as far as a statue like him being a guardian, you should look to the huge size constructs. The statue is 19' tall

Well, as it turned out, they didn't encounter the statue.

1. It's da Vinci, not Devinche.

2. "David" was sculpted by Michaelangelo

3. It's something like 15' tall, so it's not a medium statue.

4. There were lots of pictures of it in the news recently, with normal-sized people restoring it, for all of you who feel the need to judge "thickness".

On a side note, I start DMing a new D&D campaign tonight after about 10 months of a Star Wars side track. (I don't think I'll ever do that again.) I might use the naked David thing tonight in my game.

My wife has said that she'd like to start sitting in "as a fly on the wall" for this campaign so she can do some drawings. If she does one of an evil "Naked David" (maybe with death rays shooting from his eyes?) I'll be sure to post it for you Squishy.
