Ohio Gameday VII!! 1/19/08!!!

Okay, we are going for the 19th!! Who has interest in coming to this? I'd like to get a proper head count so we can determine a few things.

Looks like the gameday is just going to be too close to the holidays for us (and I mean holidays... we've got Christmas, wedding anniversary, and both of our birthdays within a few weeks of each other).

We're feeling the holiday-money-crunch pretty strongly in the Univer-poppolis household and so need to pinch some pennies for the first couple of months of the year to balance out the vast expenditure that is Christmas-anniversary-birthday-extravaganza 2007/2008.

I can definitely be there!

Is the "new gaming store" you are talking about the one in Dublin? I would highly recommend not holding it there. The place is not very big, and there is very little product/inventory to check out. Also, they do not sell refreshments of any kind.

How about the Guardtower?

The Guardtower each time I've talked to them has never had the least bit of interest. The store is in Dublin (Alley cat maybe?) but I've not been up there to talk to him since I broke my nose and am having surgery on that tomorrow.

No one has ever tried to organize one down there that I know of.

They sell some goth stuff (not sure why) but its mainly used for gaming. The area is small and his business comes from alot of ordering and Vampire TES CCG. I play D&D up there frequently, however there is only space for about 20 people or so.

There is a D&D meetup group that meets up there every month also.

In Gamedays past we have anywhere from a dozen to three dozen people. If my local non EN Board friends all make it that would be a dozen right there. That's one reason I want people to post if they can make it.
