Ohio Gameday VII!! 1/19/08!!!

Any word yet on exactly where this is going to take place? I might not be able to make it (the pregnant wife and our existing brood will be commanding my time most likely), but I imagine that a sizable contingent from Dayton might be able to come.

I return from St Loius on that day so I, most likely, am out. Have lots of fun though.

Without a lot of interest I changed what it is. Each Saturday in January (starting tomorrow) I'm hosting some game at my house. Tomorrow just some board games and then probably watch NFL as not many people are showing up with the expectation if the wintry mix. I want to give the Lord of Rings board game I got a try.

Next week we might get some Squirrel Attack in or maybe Hollow Earth Expedition if I can come up with that for a one shot. It's less formal then the older game days but with it many Saturdays maybe that will be better for some people.

So, has the idea been dropped? I would be interested in either a formal game day in the Columbus area or just a weekly informal-type thing as well. I typically play D&D 3.0 and 3.5 and D&D minis.

No, it wasn't. But with the lack of interest on the boards I just kept it to other people. We played mostly board and card games during the Saturdays of January though.

I'll be going back to a bi weekly plan of games. These won't be D&D as I like to try out other games for one shots. Everyone I know already plays or has played D&D and I like to use one shots for trying out new things. The two one shots I'm most interested in trying next are Hollow Earth Expedition and Dread. But it'll be at least a couple weeks before I try to plan something else. The end of the fiscal year and the start of the new one is upon me so things get busy at work.
