Okay GMF Members: When Did You Start GM'ing?

Being I started playing about 1999-2000, I fall into the last category. I started DMing about 2 years ago off and on, now, with the main DM in the Marines, I have taken the mantle of the main DM of our group, and they think that I'm doing a great job.

Sometime in the spring of 1986, I believe. My first adventure was based on Ronnie James Dio's song "Sacred Heart". Great concept, miserable execution... LOL

I actually started DMing about 2 years ago, so I'm relatively new. I've only run a singe "successful" game, "successful" being didn't fail before it was started. But even that ended after a while when we were about 5th-level. Other than that, I've tried to start another D&D game and a Star Wars RPG game, but I've been pretty much stuck to PbP games.

What are the chances of us getting a "Campaign Log" subforum or the like around here? I think it could be neat to have a place to read just about GMF campaigns.
