I just got my hands on an iTouch, intending to use it to replace my aging Palm Tungsten T2.
The trick, of course, is transferring all my old data. Transferring my moderately sized "Contacts" section shouldn't be too much of a problem. Even if I have to do it manually, I think that's an "Orc-sized" issue.
The real "Tarrasque" is found in my Palm's "Memos" section, containing nearly 300 files- some as big as the software could handle- covering business, personal and RPG data.
So today I tried to use Bluetooth to beam a "chapter" of C chords in an alternative tuning from the Palm to the iTouch. Both devices had their Bluetooth activated, but while the Palm could find the iTouch and start the process, it quickly stopped and gave me an "Unable to send to:" message.
Looking at the sequence of events from the other side, the iTouch seemed not to be able to find the Palm.
Is there any way to get these 2 devices to start talking to each other?
Or am I going to have to...*shudder*...retype EVERYTHING manually?
