Omata, The Bringer Of The Rain And Rainbow

and here are Xira's powers:

Spells: Xiraquatl casts spells as a Xth-level sorcerer (save DC X + spell level), except that she does not need material components. She can also cast spells from the cleric list and from the Air, Good, and Law domains as arcane spells.
Psionics: At will – antimagic field, detect chaos, detect evil, detect good, detect law, detect thoughts, dispel magic, fireball, invisibility, plane shift, and polymorph self. These abilities are as the spells cast by a Xth-level sorcerer (save DC X + spell level)
Poison (Ex): Bite, Fortitude save (DC X); initial damage 2d4 temporary Strength, secondary damage 4d4 temporary Strength.
Constrict (Ex): Xiraquatl deals 4d6+14 points of damage with a successful grapple check against Gargantuan or smaller creatures. Often, Xiraquatl uses a stilled and quickened spell against other opponents while constricting a foe.
Breath Weapon (Su): Cone of fire, 50 ft, once every 1d4 rounds; damage 6d10, Reflex save half DC 20.
Telepathy (Su): Xiraquatl can communicate telepathically with any creature within 90 feet that has an Intelligence score of at least 1. The creature can respond to Xiraquatl if it wishes – no common language is needed.
Ethereal Jaunt (Su): This works like the spell as cast by a Xth-level sorcerer.
Immunities: Gold half-dragons are immune to fire, sleep, and paralysis effects.
Outsider Traits: Xiraquatl has darkvision (60-foot range). She cannot be raised or resurrected.

Two of Omata’s most faithful cultists are the psionics Prisma and Drax. Prisma Brightheart is a psionic prodigy who travels the outer planes, unlocking the psionic powers of others and recruiting them in the fight against the mind flayers. She is a short, half elven woman, with striking purple hair and eyes. Drax is a holy champion of Omata that serves as a head teacher to those who fight for Omata’s cause. He is a tall man, covered in tattoos, with brown hair and eyes.

Ohh, yeah. Like whatya did to Sesh, pretty much how I myself envisioned her. I am not sure if there's any other powers that might be suitable. The Create-Water ability was, IMO, paramount.

Sesh would though have been a rather nasty opponent of the Illithids (immune to pretty much everything they got).

Xira seems kewl as well, always had a soft spot for Couatl though (Sorry Krish, I think theyre better that Gold Dragons).

ok, according to page 120 in the PsiHB, we can start Drax off with the following, although we can feel free to modify this to suit our needs (making him too generic is boring!):

Str 16, Dex 13, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 12, Cha 8 - this allows for an additional "power up" at character level 8, 12, and 16 (all of which he has achieved due to his slayer class).
HD: 6d8+12 (con) = 42 hp
Skills: Climb +5, Stabilize Self +11 - also needs 4 ranks in Wilderness Lore and 1 in Knowledge (illithid lore) to qualify for a slayer
11 Power Points, Powers: 3/3/2
Feats: Power Attack, Psionic Weapon, Weapon Focus (longsword), Deep Impact, Cleave, Weapon Specialization (longsword), Speed of Thought - although we would need to replace one of those with Track for him to be a Slayer.
Class Features: mind thrust, empty mind, id insinuation
Armor +1 full plate, large steel shield
Masterwork longsword
Mighty masterwork compostite longbow (Str 16)
Psionic Tattoos: 1 elfsight, 1 call weaponry, 6 lesser body adjustment, 2 body adjustment, 1 displacement, 2 chameleon

that is, of course, before we add his slayer prestige levels!

also, on Prisma: what subclass of psion should we give her? it would help me to look at the appropriate "generic" stats to give me an idea of what to do with her...

also, feel free to give feats to all four of these NPCs from the alternate BoVD feats thread - it's why we made those up in the first place. :)

On Prisma, I unfortunately didn't bring PsiHb with me, but wouldn't the most suitable be the one most bent on Psionic combat (psi vs. psi). Otherwise it could always be Shaper, as his master :)

Hmmm, Krish seems to have gone missing tonight...
