On saves vs Illusion spells

I'm sorry if there's already a thread on this, but I didn't see one.

Are there official guidelines for adjudicating when someone gets to save against an illusion? Does ANYONE hearing a Ghost Sound get a save to determine it's fake? How about anyone seeing (NOT touching, or interacting in any other way) an illusionary character, or (on the boring, but more plausible side), an illusionary wall?

I don't know any official guidelines.

I think, that interacting means to observe action-reaction.

Therefore, hearing a sound (like perceiving an image) would not allow a save, but talking to an illusory person and observing the reaction (or better non-reaction) would.

An illusory wall is not detected by looking at it, of course, as there is no interaction taking place.

Illusions

Check out the PHB, page 158, under the Illusion section. You'll find what you are looking for under the 'Saving Throws and Illusions (Disbelief)' section.
