According to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times, Los Angeles Police Department detective Robert Lewis said a group of people -- including Manning -- attacked a man in a Denny's after teasing him for working on a laptop computer.
"The group began by making comments that the victim looked like a geek or a nerd," Lewis said, according to the Sun-Times.
Yeah, and we won't bother looking for the studies which conclude that being involved with athletics in school actually lessens a person's chances of getting in trouble with the law later in life. Instead we'll look at individual stories about athletes and ignore all the nerds and geeks who get in trouble for things like running Enron into the ground and negatively affecting thousands of employees. And what about Mel Gibson!?!? I think that proves that celebrities are all evil too.Crothian said:Thanks goodness no gamers get in trouble with the law. :\
