My hot geeky wife would beg to differ about being a fantasy, my tag as gamer spouse isn't a joke. Many of the geeky girls (hot, not and in between) would also object.

So long as D&D is fun to play and the community is welcoming to all players I don't think finding men and women to play D&D will be a problem.
