One with the Hammer? [RoS]

The Battlesmith Prestige Class from WotC's Races of Stone has a 1st level class feature called One with the Hammer (Ex):

A battlesmith's long hours at the forge grant her a special bond with a hammer. When wielding a warhammer that she has crafted herself, a battlesmith adds her Wisdom bonus as a bonus to the damage dealt by the weapon.

Given a warhammer is a one-handed melee weapon, how does One with the Hammer work when wielding the weapon two-handed?

Do you add the Wisdom bonus to the Strength bonus and multiply by 1.5x?

Do you multiply the Strength bonus by 1.5x and then add the Wisdom bonus?

Does the Wisdom bonus get multiplied with critical hits?

Hmm, new splatbooks...

like every one-handed melee weapon when wielded two-handed.
Do you add the Wisdom bonus to the Strength bonus and multiply by 1.5x?
Nope.
Do you multiply the Strength bonus by 1.5x and then add the Wisdom bonus?
So to say.
Does the Wisdom bonus get multiplied with critical hits?
Sure, it's a static bonus... only additional damage dice are not multiplied.

What he said. I mostly chimed in to say that the Battlesmith is one of my favorite prestige classes from the new book Races of Stone. It really captures the warrior dwarf who crafts their own magical armor feel like from many of the books.

Given the lack of text otherwise, I'd say exactly as it works with the hammer wielded one-handed - you add your Wisdom modifier in bonus damage.

Do you add the Wisdom bonus to the Strength bonus and multiply by 1.5x?

No. Since the rules for weilding two-handed don't say anything about multiplying any bonuses other than Strength, there is no reason to do this. You don't multiply the enhancement bonus, do you?

Do you multiply the Strength bonus by 1.5x and then add the Wisdom bonus?

Does the Wisdom bonus get multiplied with critical hits?

Yes, and yes - just like any other numerical bonus (as opposed to bonus dice).

I agree that you add the Wis mod after you multiply the Str mod by 1.5. If the Battlesmith ability said something along the lines of "add Wis mod to Str mod for purposes of damage" then perhaps things would be different, but it doesn't.

I recently wrestled with whether the Hammer of Moradin's Powerful Grip ability (1.5 Str mod on damage when warhammer is wielded one-handed, x2 Str mod when wielded two-handed) affected Power Attack in any way. I decided it didn't because Powerful Grip doesn't say to treat the weapon as being wielded differently, it just says to change the Str mod to damage.

Basically, in my book, if something doesn't specifically say it does something, it probably doesn't.
