It just seems luck. I'm playing in another game and invading stuff is just painful...so its got to be really really random.Serpenteye said:...In some cases. The French and Italians seem to have better luck than the rest of us.
Serpenteye said:Hey, Tonguez. Why are you attacking me all of a sudden? I thought we were allies, fighting the good fight against the nefarius Gustav. And now you stab me in the back. Tsk tsk tsk, I certainly hope Britain or Germany doesn't take this oppertunity to attack your poorly defended coastline. You have 28 divisions in Finland, the rest must be spread rather thin. I bet they could divide your territory between them with minimal casualties. It's probably the best chance Britain will ever get considering their geographical location, and it's no more than you deserve, naughty boy.![]()
Tonguez said:All of a sudden? - Freindly fire or Over enthusiastic response to Gustav related espionage that went wrong! The invasion was pre-planned and we seem to have come into conflict as a result! aaaargh!
Serpenteye said:So, you never intended to attack me? You believed that you were attacking Gustav when you sent your army into Helsinki?
Ahh, my army has already entered Turku, and I need that province to make my borders more defendible. Pulling out my army would cause greater casualties than fighting you for the territory, so I think I'm going to stay. I might refrain from continuing the war on your own native soil, though, if you offer me an appropriate tribute.![]()
Tonguez said:King Olaf sends a bevy of young Nordic Masseurs and the complete Abba collection to Serpenteye Igor as Tribute (and I'll through in Helsinki and Trampere too)
And yep the last message I got was of Gustav entering Turku and Trampere - so I programmed in a offensive 'final strike'. Only problem is I still can't work out how to stop an army order once its been validated!
