Are Alec and the pets still in custody? Honestly, I can't remember. I should probably go back and re-read.

I believe they still are, though that may not last long once we get back, since our reason for holding Alek is sort of gone now that we know Pigglemorth was behind the brass-pires, and we have no real proof that Alek ordered the crazy mask guys after us, since they were (1) crazy, and (2) have since more literally lost their heads.

Oh, I suspect it'll bother everyone, including Ru. Though I think Ru's more inclined to concede defeat if he can't win by the letter of the law, which is I think where he and the good Father got into some juicy RP head-butting before. Internal Strife For The Win!

Then again, Ru's currently battling his internal Chaotic Barbarian self (especially after all that bloodlust in the fight with Ada), so who knows how strict his lawfulness is at the moment...
