Maybe active Perception rolls to discern the source of the chanting?

You can leave the fountain and head down either of the corridors or try and interact with the water spirits. The chanting is coming from upstairs somewhere. You see no way to get upstairs however.

There's a water surface in the ceiling, right? Perhaps we could possibly try and convince the water spirits to give us a lift into the upper levels.

I guess if Sabynha's singing doesn't work, we might try making the crystal goblet ring by flicking at it. If really desperate, we could show how 'amazingly' talented we are with crystal goblet wine glass music (with water from the fountain).
