Having Minor Illusion would be wonderful. It can make sounds and visual illusions. Light would also be good for you, in case I die. And the enhanced Mage Hand could wind up being a lifesaver.

Plus you'd get access to some spells, which could be invaluable. Mostly illusion and charm, but you get one that can be anything at this level. Having a familiar might be wonderful, considering we could have it scout. You could have a little cat or bat or something that could help figure out where things are.

Just saying, we're low on magic and you have an opportunity to change that.

True, true. I may end up going that way. I'll have to look at the spells available and see what I can come up with considering I don't have a spell component pouch. The other issue is her Intelligence is not so good, so spells requiring saving throws (most of the enchantment spells) may be off the table.

ETA: The mage hand lockpicking is really attractive...

Naeris' arrows were just regular arrows, right? Are they recoverable after he fired them from the bow given that negative energy attack thing? I count 9 arrows fired, 5 from Whisper, 4 from Nearis. Just trying to figure out how many I can recover and my final arrow tally.

None of the arrows fired this combat were recoverable.

Going to throw up my stat block at the moment for the caretaker you guys killed in the RG for posterity.

Pursuant to the conversation in the RG thread (which should probably be happening here to keep that one streamlined), I think it would have had a lot more HPs if we hadn't set it on fire. So we probably would have all died anyway ;)

Creamsteak We didn't happen to spot a spell component pouch back in that bedroom, did we?

Assuming that's a no, can I scavenge a piece of copper wire from the Caretaker? If he had a bit of fleece on him, that would be great too. Also, does Whisper remember if there was any sand in any of the water areas they have traversed? I've got to put together spell components if I'm going to do this Arcane Trickster deal.
