Just finished a quick going through the free player's pdf and I'd be interrested in this. I'm thinking something like the son of the local blacksmith, a brash oracle of flames with romantic leanings towards Ameiko?

I know you were not looking at specific concepts yet but there is an inevitable element of "staking claims" to these things. Right now I am looking at a forlorn arctic elf barbarian who was sort of adopted by Shalelu's family and who is skilled up a bit with an eye towards roles needs for the caravan.

If you are interested please grab the free player's guide at paizo.

You can go ahead and start coming up with character concepts.
Please note that there is no need for "staking a claim" for a concept.
As players you should play what you want to play.
As a DM it is my job to tailor the AP to the party's makeup.
So if we have a party full of fighters, for instance, I should make it so that everyone has fun.

Please look over the NPC relationship and caravan info in the player's guide.
I have not decided how all of this will work with the campaign, being PbP, yet.

OOC: Yes, this is a Play-by-Post game. PbP games are generally slower then a Face-to-Face game. Particularly slow can be combat where a single melee round can take a few days or even weeks, depending. All are welcome. Also, welcome to the boards.
