(OOC) Planescape: Intrigue

Double-post:

I edited my post with a second use of Divine sense, just in case.

PS: I'm camping this weekend and will be off-grid until Sunday or Monday. I will try to post something today before I leave, if I can.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it does:

I bolded the important bits.

According to this, it should pin point and identify an undead, fiend or celestial within 60 feet. It is not like the spell detect evil so it only last 1 round.

Using their example in the description (the vampire Count Strahd), it would tell me that some guy in front of me is an undead but not tell me what kind(vampire) or their identity(Count Strahd)

If you'd prefer that it didn't work that way, that's fine, as long as we're on the same page. It was definitely my take-away.
Thank you for clarifying that, and I appreciate you being accommodating enough to consider bending the rules for me- but we don't have to- I'd prefer to play most things by the book. My understanding of 5e mechanics and nuances is shaky, so this is a learning process for me. I'll read back through your old post to see where you modified it and used divine sense, and let you know (unless, of course, it's perpetually 'on'). Could you also clarify for me (for future encounters) whether divine sense is a passive ability?

Thanks for the update, enjoy!

It only lasts until the end of my next turn and I can activate it 5 times per short rest. This is my second usage.

can you please repost and update Orris’s abilities here - he is using abilities that I do not see here.
Abilities

  • Speed: 35 feet
  • Size: Medium
  • Lay on Hands: 25/25 (Pool of healing energy)
  • Rapier: 1d8+2 (Melee weapon attack)
  • Spell Save DC: 15 (Spell save difficulty class

At the top of every post is a mini-sheet. I use this to track my HP, Spells and daily use abilities. I also try to have useful stuff for the DM there:
AC, Passive Perception, Initiative movement etc...

There's a few more details in the sub-menus but I try to have the important stuff at a quick glance. That said, I don't have EVERY ability listed in the mini-sheet. I use the mini sheet as a way to keep track of things without having to constantly refer back to my full character sheet.

Here is his full character sheet:

I will have a link embedded to his full character sheet in the mini-sheet from now on. Just click on his name.

I don't have all the ability descriptions written out on the character sheet but I can add links on his character sheet if it's useful.

My instinct is to go to the group and the guy with the robes but, unfortunately, I'm running late and I probably won't be able to post until I get back from my camping trip on Sunday night or Monday morning.
