Yeah sorry, I've had a busy week. I can post an intro after the quest-giver post if that will flow better. I was holding off a bit to let some responses resolve, but maybe that's not the way to do it lol. Still getting back into the grove of the forum rp.I think @happylace and @Aethmud ?
The others are going to be joining the party a bit later due to RL travel.
I can incorporate a bit of Alma's intro, since the quest-giver has brought Alma on as a specialist.
I have the post with initial quest-giver that gathers the party together written, was going to post tomorrow morning (PST) but I could post tonight if folks prefer.
Ah sorry, I will use "remove formatting" rather than going clicking black after using another colour@domminniti please avoid black color in the text, it does not show in dark theme. Thank you
That's an interesting idea. Would definitely speed up Perception checks and maybe some lore checks. I guarantee that I won't be able to keep track of your saving throw bonuses though (I'm tracking pleeeenty other stuff), but I like the cut of your jib. I suspect you're right, that it may speed/smooth things along.@Quickleaf I'm cool with you rolling for my character. If I ask to do something and it requires a roll, just make the roll for me and incorporate my result into your resolution of the action to cut down on wait time. Likewise any saves - if I don't have a important decision to make just roll it.
yeah, any special bonuses, like "advantage on poison saves", "add d4 to dex save if failed as a reaction" or whatever are too fine grained for you to keep track of. For me, whatever makes the narrative work the best is fine by me. I've also made character choices to make it as simple to run on pbp as possible, like not using stuff that triggers much on other players turns, like oppertunity attacksThat's an interesting idea.
