OoC-UaVS:Yrtchull's Return

So, as I mentioned in the Playing thread, we need to find someone to play Yrtchull Ferach so as to continue the game at a proper pace.
I feel that you folks (and myself) waiting on the last player's posting (which was erratic) kept us from cruising along at the proper speed. As well, if I continue to NPC him, I don't want the rest of the PCs to just go along with his (an NPCs) storyline (namely Revenge on his Sisters). Cambrech has the same motivations, and a valid Goal in realizing them. So, instead of me posting a 'recruit', I'd like to hear the opinions of the current players as to a suitable replacement to play Yrtchull. He's a Drow Fighter with a rather nasty Demonsword, so perhaps someone who would post as Yrtchull and as the Sword whispering into his Mind etc...what I don't want (no offense to the last player) is someone who will post things like 'C'mon Guys, we have to save my cousin!' and words like 'dude' etc...
Dark and Brooding would be good.
What I meant with my post yesterday (I didn't mean to alarm anyone as to changing things up on you folks) is that at your current level, you would almost assuredly get stomped on by Yrtchull's Sisters and whatever they might be able to bring to bear. They are (as far as you know) members in good standing of a Noble House. Getting your characters 'buffed up' a bit prior to any confrontation is what I meant as far as a good course of action. yrtchull isn't screaming 'Revenge!' and charging right backto Thelaru'acli.
I would love to see this head in that direction as far as story goes, I just meant that you are all more free to set your own pace.Rest assured, things will progress to whatever direction folks want to go. I'm not going anywhere, and I seem to be one of only 2 DMs who have completed PbP games on this board (or so say the old farts here).
On another Note, the Secrecy Issue.
I had my first group of UaVS players keep from posting on a Rg thread because several of them were at odds and there was even one pair that were plotting to kill another etc... This group isn't planning on murdering each other at this point, but do you folks like keeping the characters secret? Would you rater have a RG thread? I just thought I'd ask, as I didn't bother askig with the other group.
Please throw out any comments/questions that you like.

What actually did happen to the other UaVS game? Did it end? Or did they just move to another chapter?
Though Teretha doesn't feel like assassinating any of the other members (current appearant reward doesn't match up to their use as meatshields), she doesn't entirely trust them either, so I'm in favor of keeping the sheets closed.
About those 2 games, I dunno. Erekose13 finished one recently, though a few of the PC's (numbers reducing by the moment, soon it might just be my char?) were transferred over to a new game, so it's actually more of a new chapter stuff.
I'm in favor of finding a new player for Yrtchull, but not just assigning it to the 1st person to frop by. Considering he's the main character of the game, it should be someone with a fitting personality.

As far as the game, yes it finished. 11 Months, maybe a bit less. Most of the characters survived.Had someone not posted about changes to Damage Resistance that I had overlooked from 3.0 to 3.5, I would have killed 6 of the 8 or so. The game is officially stopped, although 4 or 5 of the guys would like to start another one. I'm fine with that, but I am running 6 PbPs(2 are LEW) with a 7th starting very soon.
Off-Topic: I will be trying to only run 1 LEW game after these 2 conclude, but I expect to have more than 1 game's worth of the 11PCs invloved wanting to play, at least that's what folks have mentioned.
The remaining characters from the other UaVS game are not (except for 1,ahem...Ferach Sister) very dutiful to the House, being Bodyguards,Mercs, a cast aside lover (and his faithful bugbear best friend) and a rather unsavort half-Fiend troll. Some cross-pollination could occur as well...
In the RL game that I am starting in 2 weeks is using the uaVS setting, and several of the characters/names from these games may/will crop up in that one as well.
Well, we just need some suggestions for playing Yrtchull, then.
We will keep the sheets closed (I rather like that myself), as all I was waiting for was 1 dissenting voice.

Mmh, that changes stuff around a bit. You said earlier that you didn't want any players doubling up on the games, so I was under the impression you planned on tying the stories together eventually, but appearantly, one of the parties is done for.
Well, it's up to you who plays. I haven't seen Mattbajda around at all, but Ferretguy seems fine to me.

I didn't so much plan on tying up stories together as I planned on the characters from the other possibly melding into this one. Timewise,they aren't exactly on the same page, as Yrtchull and co will actually escape (right now,essentially) right about the time that the other game gets under way.
One of his sisters is an NPC now, but one was/is (he wants to start a second game) still a PC.
I think I'll ask them in person tomorrow (we are getting together for boardgames and such). ferretguy is already in 3 of my games, and he has a job/wife/ect... to juggle. Matt is just getting started on ENWorld, but plans to play rabidly, so he's a good choice (I am also going to drop him in to The Sceptre game to replace GE's Rament, who will become a permanent NPC).
I was asking you folks, because perhaps one of you had another player that you really like the playing style of, one that you think would bring some Style to Yrtchull (he sort of has the Elric thing going on, with a Sentient Demon Sword, though he's pretty big and burly for a Drow, not a weedy little albino...)

) has a good enough Ref save to <I just rolled a 22 total> dodge silly DM brain-farts. Or (1st Ed) you could just yell 'I disbelieve!' and get rid of the silly illusionary post...

Glad to hear that it wasn't all me rangerjohn (though i hope RL is going better for you as well) .
My friend matt (bajda) wants to play Yrtchull and is coming over tomorrow to get a look at himand discuss the setting (as well as play some Munchkin and other board/card games). Hopefully, we can get under full sail again very soon.
