I just wanted to get this in here before today's strip shows up. Given Belkar's prophecy and the events of the last panel, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to duck out of the way, resulting in Miko tripping over him and falling down some stairs to her doom.

Keep in mindthat Belkar's question was "will I cause the death of any of this ratherlarge list", and the answer was "yes". Miko and her horse weren't the only ones on the list. Also, he didn't specify actively killing them, but merely "causing their death" which could mean any number of things.

I like Miko, so I am not particularly pleased by this turn of events. (But, then again, it is just a comic. )

Well, the horse is pretty much safe. It won't be answering any calls unless and until Miko makes an atonement, and that doesn't appear to be in the cards for the near future.
