Also, do remember that Miko has taken on multiple members of the Order by herself. From the track record, it would seem like Roy wouldn't be so much killing Miko as he is roughing her up.

That sequence is best explained by DM plot railroading. I seem to remember Roy complaining about exactly that while tied up and being led back to Azure City. It was also pointed out by Durkon that without the bad weather, they would have had a fairly easy time killing her. She's not that powerful, but she's a DMPC.

I understood the innuendo just fine, it's simply I didn't see how it was so hilarious. ;)

Did you play 1st or 2nd edition D&D where treasure under monsters in the MM was listed as Treasure type Q, P, N, etc?

But you also have to remember that at that time Miko had all her Paladin powers, she had Windstriker to help her out, and Roy was swinging around a big stick instead of a +5 Glowing Green Greatsword of Something Bane.

Yep, however, Roy had at least a minor assist the first time from Hayley (though probably not a +5 worth, maybe just equalling out to his greatsword feats).

The first time was bad weather, so it basically fell to Roy (with club) and Hayley (with rapier) fighting her. Not so good odds. The second time, everyone was involved, but there may have been some DM fudging. But you know.... All the more reason to enjoy (from the player level) the opportunity to knock her around with out fear of killing her.

Like I said, it's enjoyable on so many levels. :)

You mean to enjoy the opportunity to knock her around with the intent of killing her. Roy ain't striking to subdue.
