OotS #460

Just because she is no longer a Paladin does not automatically mean she changed alignment...not that she couldn't have, just saying she lost her paladin abilities but could still be lawful good. Deluded but good.
There's no way she's Good now. Lawful definitely, but not Good.

She will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. It just so happens that her goals are "Lead the Sapphire Guard" and "Protect the Gate". ....although that last one is "iffy". She did almost destroy it, after all.

...and kill the OotS, of course! ;)

For some reason, I assumed she didn't realise it was there when she went all chop-happy. If she knew, then just missing it was deliberate, she's not going to come that close by accident. If she didn't know, then how come she does now?

I'd better go back and read them again, I'm probably missing something obvious (like they told her after). Maybe she only knows its in the throne room somewhere.

I dunno about this one. The comment about Roy getting what he deserves and the last panel was ironic, but not in a funny "ha-ha" way. More like evoking pathos. Hopefully Xykon will make her see the light ("You've fallen, babe. Get over it.") and hilarity will ensue :)

I think Miko's good-evil axis alignment depends a lot on how Rich Burlew interprets alignment... Of course, I don't think it bodes too well that she doesn't seem to recognize that she has done something evil or that her first thought after breaking out of prison is to kill people. Nonetheless, she still thinks that she's good, so she'll definitely do whatever damage she can to Redcloak, Xykon, and friends.

Poor Roy. Vultures. Oh the humanity!

Exactly.

She's not Good. She's.....Lawful Neutral, IMO. Maybe. :]

I dunno; I can see her running into a room full of paladin ghosts, including Soon, and immediately employing her vast skill in Jump (to Conclusions) to conclude that the "undead" paladins must be evil (they're using some magic to hide from her ability to detect evil, of course), and must be destroyed. Maybe the entirety of the Sapphire Guard was in fact an evil plot, and the gods have chosen to reveal that to her as part of her very special destiny.

Could be worse. Could be flumphs.
