OotS #466

As an aside, Stephen Brust was complaining on his blog that he wasn't getting any work done because OOtS wasn't updated.

How am I supposed to get any work done...
...when Order of the Stick hasn't updated? Doesn't he understand my need? Feh. Some people. If I were as careless with deadlines as he is--

--oh, wait. I am.

Never mind.

Okay, done with chapter 14. Onward we go.

I expected something more like:
Redcloak: "As of right now, we own this city."
Xykon: "I don't really care. Let's go to the next gate right now. Who cares what happens to this dump?"

Uhh... That's exactly what happened.

I would be somewhat disappointed to see Roy raised. Letting him remain dead (or better yet, Undead!) would help show that the OotS is a D&Dish party, there is no "main character" and anybody could be next. Also, I like the idea of Hinjo joining the OotS, and I can't really see the OotS with both Hinjo and Roy... too similiar?

Makes me wonder how Xykon ever got his personal spell research done. And how does he stand being an immortal with no attention span? :p

He's only about 100 years old - Roy's dad fought him back in the day.

Anyway, having a bad memory would be great for an immortal, less likely to get bored. Then again, R. Scott Bakker disagrees.
