I wonder if the "V has done evil things" will change her alignment? I know, previous thread but I didn't read that one.

Hopefully she'll repent sooner or later. At least to her mate.

Ha. Just realized... that's V's cloak Roy wraps around himself there, isn't it? I guess that's what you get for turning to the Dark Side.

I'm pretty sure casting familicide is enough to slam anyone firmly down into the Evil category.

"Roy's invisible!"

Awwww. Poor Elan. He's dating the hottest (and perhaps only) chick in the party but when she gets naked he thinks he can't see her. Sad.

Part of the problem with Marvel-style resurrections are main characters get killed too often. I don't think Roy should have been killed off, and am quite glad he's back.

I think that given the situation at the time, it was dramatically appropriate. He went for one on one vs Xykon while on a flying Zombie dragon. It was too early in the narrative for Xykon to be defeated outright, and we already had an initial defeat and regeneration sequence for Xykon. If Roy defeated Xykon again, then Xykon would have been devalued as a villain.

Having Roy killed by Xykon simply 'put Xykon over' and made him a more effective villain within the narrative. Having a hyper powered V get put down hard by Xykon further re-enforced this.

The last 220 or so strips may have been frustrating for some, but I would say that the overall story is better as a result.
