i have been putting a little more work into head jugs (for background- http://barnwellweb.com/pawprintpottery/face_jugs.htm ) and have recently turned my attention to d+d critters.

below i am posting my intial attempt at a "sketch" in clay, then a more finished product.

neither of these is fired, and they will change color drastically then.

and here is my curent solution.

in my dream world i could bring hundreds of these to gencon and have a monster making competition :)

The first one looks kinda like an Oni and the second one is awesome.... *has something to try next time he has pottery class*
