[OT] Bahhhh Anybody else wroking??

Well, I had work Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas. But another question is - whose working January 1st?

I get out at midnight not much of a drinker so it dosen't bother me and I'll be home before most of the DWI cases are on the road.

Yep. Back at work, pumping gas for all the morons out in the blinding snow. And yes, I'll be working New Year's, just like I have for the last 8 years. Blah. Holiday pay? It is to laugh. Legally, my boss doesn't even have to pay overtime. The only reason he's paying me overtime for the approximately 23 hours of overtime I put in per week is because he needs someone to cover the nights who can stay awake all night and not sell crack out of the back office. It's a rare gift, apparently.

I luckily do not have to work until the 27th - but I work from the 27th until the 31st, get the 1st off, and work the 2nd. Fun, no?

Had to work 19:00 Christmas eve until 07:00 Christmas morning, and my shift falls across the same hours New Years Eve and morning.

Oh, and none of it is considered OT or holiday-comp-day worthy by my generous company.

Yay.

Because I don't think anyone should really have to work on Christmas, I do not go anywhere. No fast food, no shopping, no last minute items from the grocery store. I won't call for help on stting up my wireless network. So know that I am here to support you. I am also for the Fridayfication of Christmas so most people get the day after off.
