I feel so sorry for all those poor, adulterated french fries. Fry abuse, that's what it is!

Poor innocent fries. All they want is a little salt, and all you big meanies slather them with vile substances.

Ugh, I am with you- most foods should be savored for the wonderful tastes of their own- not smothered in preservative filled processed goo that only covers the wonderful flavors.

Sounds like you are feeling better, Buttercup. heh. I hope so, anyway.

Time to go watch Bruce Cambell beat someone up on sci-fi.

Just heard they are considering potentially legalizing marajuana now, too.

I think that it'll tragically suck all the hippies and white rastafarians from the US and funnel them into Ontario (or various other locations). Ah, the tragedy! Ah, the sweetness! Ah, the colors!

Just imagine how many "dude...when you think aboot it, the word 'mountie' is kinda funny...." jokes that'll get!

Myself included - sometimes.

But then, I've even been known to put ice cream on french fries (at McDonald's, at least). :D

I'll dip my french fries in ice cream and hot fudge at McDonald's as well, and in frosties at Wendy's. Fries don't seem that terribly far from nuts in flavor to me, so it seemed intuitive.

Now that I know there's someone else who does it, I'll have to find some other deviant but completely innocuous behavior for people to purposefully ignore if I want to individuate myself.

Okay here is the real answer. The Canadian government has two categories for winning stuff, contests and loteries.

The loteries cover things like casinos, lottery tickets, scratch and win cards, etc. A lot of work goes into making sure that there is little to no cheating involved here as there is a lot of money involved.

The contests have to be differentialted from the loteries, and this is done via a skill testing question. So if you win you are legally required to answer a question...often you will be given the anser by the person asking it but the actual questions are never really that difficult, usually something like.

2 + (3x4) -6 =______

Not very difficult, and if you can't figure it out in 5 minutes you probably wouldn't know what to do with the prize anyways.
