I have a little golem
I made it out of clay...

LOL! :D

[OT but possibly of interest to Jewish gamers] Did anyone notice the illustration of a dwarven rabbi in the Power Class: Exorcist booklet by Mongoose?

Happy to all of my fellow "chosen people " as well as my goyum friends like Curtis (die_kluge). Hope you get what you want--mmm... 8 days of gifts (drool) Hey, alish2o did you make that dreidel? I kinda collect them and would be interested in talking to you. And a dreidel as a sub d4 almost made me spit soda on my monitor.

Have a great holiday month no matter what you celebrate.

For what it's worth, I've always preferred this spelling of Hanukkah, although I don't know why. Our families celebrated with a lovely dinner party (complete with latkes of course) and gift exchange last night. Now in another few weeks we get to do it all again for Christmas -- both my wife and I are from interfaith backgrounds :).

May the Festival of Lights be a joyful and blessed time for you and your families!!

My g/f and I are interfaith as well. Well, my parents aren't religious, but they celebrate the standard US holidays. Her family is Jewish, and mine is secular (I'm converting). It sure makes deciding whose house to go to for holidays easy!! :D

Happy Hanukkah, everyone!!

A song I posted last year, but will post again, in the spirit of this thread:

(incidentally, I'm not Jewish, but I love the Dreidel song)

Sung to the tune of the Dreidel song:

Great song!! LOL!! :)

Haven't seen that, but thanks for the pointer. I'll have to look for that my next trip to the FLGS.

Zander:
I hadn't seen the dwarven rabbi you mention...but you can bet I'm gonna look him up now!! Thanks for the head's up, he sounds quite amusing and powerful. Just imagine a dwarven cleric wielding the power of the Ark...Indiana Jones eat your heart out  !!

garyh:
I agree -- no muss, no fuss when it comes to the holidays. My parents chose to host Hanukkah every year; my wife's family handles Xmas; and we throw the shindig for Thanksgiving. Easy :).
