Just needed to get that one out. It's too friggin hot here, and this fan does nothing!!!! It might as well be a Trekkie, that's how little use this fan is!

But seriously, anybody else think that gamers should just migrate north for the summer?

Hot? What could a 'jersy boy' know about hot.

Let me tell you about hot. When you can fry an egg on your car's hood at 8:00 am, that's hot. When you can make instant sun tea, that's hot. When the value of a parking space is measured by the % of shade cover (not by how close it is to a building), that's hot.

You don't know hot until you are driving a car with a black interior and black vinal top without A/C on a day it reaches 122F (50C). Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt.

HOT! It is not just hot here, it is humid! None of that 'but it is a dry heat', this is a freaking wet heat. Sure we (Columbia SC) have not hit the triples yet but we will!

Anyway, I can't handle cold weather, 40 degree weather, is borderline death for me (and lots of folks here)!


Fire ants are part of the seasoning around here in most dishes (j/k).

Yep those fire ants know how to assimilate an area!

Pshaw. Austin ain't hot. Houston is hot. SC thinks it's got heat and humidity. Houston's got heat and humidity. Whole city's built on a swamp.

It's so hot and humid outside that you literally boil just walking to the car. Literally. Fourteen boiling related deaths just yesterday.

And in the car! Sheesh!

You gotta tape oven mitts all over your back, buttocks, backs of your thighs, and wear oven mitts just to drive. Otherwise, you'd leave a thick layer of boiled flesh burned onto the upholstery and vinyl of the car's interior.

Highs in the 50's and 60's, lows in the 40's, cloudy and rainy for about the past week or two.

Perfect weather for mildew.

It's very humid here too. The air is thick, wet, and hot; also, my allergies make it so I can't breathe through my nose.

My dog is lying on the floor panting, refusing to move, but she does that all year round, so that's not new to me.
