[ot]Magnamund - Lone Wolf Series

Oops, probably didn't make it clear in my post; I meant use Defese for all classes or none at all. I think we should use Defense.

Next question: Hit Points or Wound/Vitality? My inclination is hit points.

Ok, I have written up the Lore-circle effects for my Kai core class. Remember I am trying to stay close to the books. Tell me what you think.

Lore-circles: There are four circles of training within the Kai Order. These only come into effect once a Kai Lord starts learning his Magnakai Disciplines. By choosing specific combinations of Magnakai Disciplines, a Kai Lord is able to increase his martial prowess and stamina.
Circle of Fire: If a Kai Lord has learnt the Weaponmastery and Huntmastery Disciplines, then he has completed the Lore-circle of Fire. He gains +1 on all attack rolls and +2 hit points.
One thing to keep in mind is the scale of the books compared to D&D. In the books, you have 1d10+9 points of combat skill and 1d10+19 endurance, and that's it (items and kai abilities can modify these, but I mean the basic abilities of the character). When viewed from that angle, getting a small bonus to CS and Endurance is pretty neat.

However, in the D&D version we're talking about someone who's at least 12th level before they can get any of the lore-circles. Getting +1 to hit is always nice I suppose, but another 2 hp? We are talking someone who has something like 60 hp (depending on whether to go with 1d8 or 1d10 hp) already without Con bonus - what's another 2 or 3? Perhaps the hp benefit should be tied to level, or maybe work as some form of Con increase?

Hmmm. I think A Con bonus is too powerful. Double the bonus to hit points? Make it a bonus to Fort? If we decide to use VP/WP, make it a bonus to WP?

Pretty sure i got a copy of the PDF to everyone who asked or mailed me direct for one, but if i missed anyone let me know.

Second attempt bounced i'm afraid the 4.51 MB PDf must be larger than your mailer can handle. This is a pretty common occurence with free e-mails like Yahoo etc.. due to the nature of PDF's i can't even Winzip it for much more compression, so unless you have an alternate e-mail with a larger attachment acceptance capability i don't think i can get a copy to you Andrew.

If going with Vitality/Wounds, a bonus to Wounds would work great. Otherwise, perhaps make it a level-based hp bonus - +1 hp/level for the +2 endurance bonus and +2 for the +3 bonus?
