[OT] NHL Playoffs continuation thread

NOOO!!!!!

Well all good things must come to an end. And so did Jiggy SO streak. It stood at 217:54. While not a playoff record that is still damned unbelievable. Just hope the Ducks can bounce back and still win this one!

WOO HOO! They are in thier first ever Stanley Cup finals with an unbelievable record of 12-2 in the playoffs! I can't wait to see who they get to beat for the Cup!

Starting to score goals and not give any up...that is a really good way to win the Stanley Cup. I wonder when the last time a 7 seed was playing in the finals?

These are the Devils I know and hate, and I was really hoping the Sens would win. Guess I'll have to lay all my hopes on the Ducks

Groan...with Ottawa all but eliminated, I find myself in an uncomfortable position...do I root for New Jersey or Anaheim?

On the one hand, the hated New Jersey. I don't think anyone who knows me would ever let me live cheering them on down (could be worse, though, could be Toronto).

On the other, Anaheim. Yeah, Yeah, Jiggy's giving a jaw dropping performance, and their led by Vancouver's favorite son (Kariya), but I just don't think I want to live in a world where Disney has a Stanley Cup and Vancouver doesn't.

Oh well,

The life of a Canucks fan is a vale of tears.

Disney has been trying to dump them so it wouldn't last long, and they certainly didn't go out and buy it like xertain teams try to do.

Well it looks like the Senators wanted to get in 1 last win for the season. Although I would love to see them win in Jersey, I don't see it happening. Then again the Senators had never won an elimination game before, and the Devils had never lost an elimination game before. But all things must come to and end at some point. But hey if this series does go 7 games that just means more rest for the Ducks!

Go Ducks!

The Devils have lost at least one elimination game before that I know of. It was against the Stars in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals a couple of years ago. What they have never done is lost a series after going up 3 games to 1.

Of course I am hoping that this will be a first time for them.
