I like Hitchcock and I think he's a good coach. I just don't think he's got the players for this club to work, with a few exceptions. I do hope Clarkie gets fired but I doubt it will before he dies retires.
I saw that. It's sad...but at least Bouch has a chance at the starting job with the Yotes, who are a young team and still have some skill to them. I DO wish we'd gotten some defensemen in the trade...but that's Clarke for you. You'd think he'd learn after seeing Lidstrom win the Conn Smyth instead of Yzerman or Hasek.
They probably will trade Primeau...but I doubt that will be enough to keep Oates. I think he might go to Montreal, still get some ice time BUT would have some skill to work with.
