(ot) OSU-michigan week

Something like 40 days till the big game now...all the more time for Clarrett to get healthy. Miami still has to games to go and their opponents aren't Rutgers or Baylor so they lose and we could see Washington St or Oklahoma in the mix again.

Great game though...no really bad calls that cost one team or the other the game and it came down to the last play of the game. Whew! Glad its over....13-0 sounds sooooo GOOD!

About what I expected. Not quite; there was a bit more scoring.

My Orange don't have a prayer against the 'Canes, because they think defense is for other people (there's always basketball :) ), and the Hokies don't, because they're just overrated.

But the Buckeyes are by far the best team Miami will play all year. So OSU-Miami will be a lot like OSU-Michigan, except with a few more field goals. Ohio State 17, Miami 15.

The Orangemen can pull out a miracle if Miami looks past them, and they play a perfect game. However, I do think that will be Miami victory by about 25. Now VT is not over rated as much as they have lost some very good defensive people. Pittsburgh almost tied it up with Miami, by playing good defense. So, if VT can get their people healed they have a chance. However I Imagine that one will be Miami by 14.

The Fiestabowl is going to be one heck of a game. If it is Miami OSU, I think it will be like the FSU Oklahoma game of two years ago.

However, it's the Rose Bowl that could be a scorefest. If WSU can win at UCLA Dec 7, it should be Iowa WSU. Two great quaterbacks and lots of points. I do think Iowa is the better team though.

And I feel sorry for whomever faces Penn State, especially if they don't have a good run defense.

I saw most of the WSU-Washington game, and the first half of UCLA-USC. The Cougars are amazing with Gesser, but without him their offense just didn't click at all. If Gesser's back and 100% for the UCLA game, WSU-UCLA won't be close (much like USC-UCLA wasn't close), and WSU will beat Iowa. If he's not, I can't see them beating UCLA, and I can see USC beating Iowa. Iowa's only played one team that could win a shootout with them, and they lost that game.

Good game... congrats to OSU and good luck in the Fiesta Bowl!

We could use another Big-10 Champion... it has been awhile.

All I could think of during that entire game was that it was OSU
who seemed to be playing the more focused, poised football...
they made all the right plays even when Michigan was moving up
and down the field on them... they didn't get rattled. The scary
part of this is that it is Tressel who is playing with the younger
team... lots of freshmen seeing significant time. That guy can flat
out coach.

I wonder if Carr is going to be Tressel's Cooper?.....

Anyway, good game and congratulations again!
